Top Irish Companies Log On to Ireland's first Change of Address Service

Dublin, July - NewAddress.ie has recruited four leading Irish companies to its change of address service in advance of its trial launch this week.

Bank of Ireland, Eircom, ESB Customer Supply and Bord Gáis have all entered into partnership agreements with NewAddress.ie, Ireland's first on-line change of address service. Under the agreements customers will be able to inform the companies of a change of address at the press of a button.

Commenting on the agreements, Derek Quinn, Managing Director, NewAddress.ie, said: "Our research reveals that Ireland's leading companies and Government agencies are spending in excess of €40 million tracking up to five million home move-related transactions each year."

He continued: "More and more Irish companies realise that these costs can be prevented through the use of our service. We are delighted to welcome Bank of Ireland, Eircom, ESB Customer Supply and Bord Gáis on board and invite their customers to test the simplicity and efficiency of our service during our trial launch this week."

The four are the latest Irish organisations to partner with NewAddress.ie. In recent weeks NewAddress.ie has also signed similar partner agreements with SMART Telecom and Downes Syndrome Association of Ireland.

For house movers, NewAddress.ie makes the process more efficient and cost effective, by enabling them to notify Ireland's leading companies of their change of address free of charge and in three easy steps. The model has already proven highly successful in the UK, US, Holland, New Zealand and Canada.

Businesses that subscribe to the service will cut costs, deliver better customer service and enjoy improved customer retention while customers can avail of a free and easy to use change of address service.

Other leading Irish companies already signed to the service include Vodafone, Superquinn, Gorta, the Irish Blood Transfusion Service and Statoil.

MyHome.ie, Ireland's leading property website, acquired a majority stake in NewAddress.ie earlier this year for €1 million.
