How MyAddress.ie Works

The service makes it easier for to inform Ireland’s leading companies that some of the details they have on record need to be updated. Whether it be a name or an address, the service will save you significant time and stress.

For each service, the steps are similar

Step 1: Provide contact details such as name and address

Step 2: Click on the companies that you wish to notify

Step 3: For some companies you may need to give some extra information such as account numbers or may need to sign a form which we will send out to you

Step 4: We will submit your information to the Companies

Step 5: For the Change of Address Service and Change of Name Service we will update you with the response from the Company

About each Service

Change of Address Service

When you move house through buying or renting, you could have to notify up to 25 companies of your new address, with the Change of Address Service you can change your details with over 80 companies from the comfort of your own home or anywhere. It will only take about five minutes to register.

Benefits include:

• Our service is completely secure (similiar to online banking)
• You can change the details of everyone in the household
• You can log in anytime to check progress

Bereavement Notification Service

The Bereavement Notification Service enables next of kin to pass on details of the bereaved to over 80 partners. The main benefit of this service is to ensure that the address details of the bereaved are removed from the various databases that the partner companies have.

Other benefits include:

• You won’t have to deal with a person in a call centre
• Potential reduction in letters addressed to the bereaved being sent
• Ability to notify several organisations at once, thus removing the requirement to repeat the information again and again

Drivers Licence Notification Service

This service lets you update your address details with the Drivers Licence Authority. If you are unsure whether your details are correct, simply look at your Drivers Licence and the registered address on the licence. If it is not your current address, than you need to update it.

There is no charge for using this service.

Benefits include:

• You will receive a notification when your licence is due for renewal
• If you don’t have a current licence than you could incur two points on your licence or face court prosecution

Change of Name Notification Service

This service lets you notify your family name address details with over 80 companies. In some instances you may be required to present a certificate or other documentation. This service is useful for changing maiden name and changing back to maiden name.

There is no charge for using this service.
